Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Ghost in the Cell karya sineas Joko Anwar akan tayang di bioskop Indonesia mulai 16 April 2026. Kabar tersebut diumumkan setelah Ghost in the Cell terpilih dalam program Forum di Berlin International Film Festival atau Berlinale 2026.

Ghost in the Cell karya pertama tahun ini untuk rumah produksi Come and See Pictures yang tayang di bioskop. Film ini lebih dulu akan melakukan pemutaran perdana (world premiere) di Berlinale, Jerman, dari 12 hingga 22 Februari 2026.

“Kami sudah tak sabar untuk menghadirkan film terbaru Come and See Pictures yang digarap secara matang bersama jajaran kru dan pemeran berkualitas Indonesia, Ghost in the Cell, yang akan tayang di bioskop Indonesia mulai 16 April 2026,” kata Joko Anwar.

“Semoga penonton tetap sabar menunggu dan menyambut Ghost in the Cell dengan antusias,” harapnya, lewat pernyataan tertulis yang diterima Showbiz Liputan6.com, Kamis (5/2/2026). Ghost in the Cell bergenre horor komedi.

Film ini dibintangi Abimana Aryasatya, Bront Palarae, Danang Suryonegoro, Endy Arfian, Lukman Sardi, Mike Lucock, Yoga Pratama, Morgan Oey, Aming, Kiki Narendra, Rio Dewanto, Tora Sudiro, Arswendy Bening Swara, dan masih banyak lagi.

Selain itu, Come and See Pictures mengumumkan Ghost in the Cell telah diakuisisi distributor yang berbasis di Jerman, Plaion Pictures. Dengan kerja sama ini, Ghost in the Cell akan ditayangkan di bioskop di negara-negara berbahasa Jerman.
